Speakers bio: Emma Pike
Emma Pike is a serial entrepreneur who started her first successful business at the age of 16. From running a secretarial recruitment company in Australia to building a web development company in Hong Kong, Emma is well known in the entrepreneur communities in Australia and throughout Asia.
In 2016 Emma launched Farmer’s Market, a leading online meat retailer in Hong Kong, expanding to Singapore in 2019. In 2020 Emma founded Epik Coaching – a platform for mentoring, coaching and networking opportunities for SME’s. EPIK provides an opportunity for business owners to take advantage of Emma’s cumulative experience as an entrepreneur, to grow their companies.
Emma also created Bullet Networking under the EPIK brand – a series of events for entrepreneurs that enables them to cultivate key business connections and learn from industry experts. Her advice to fellow business owners is, “Develop a wide network because the bigger your network, the more opportunities you will find.”
Stefano Passarello
Stefano Passarello is a multifaceted entrepreneur, financier and innovation mentor, based in Hong Kong. Stefano has helped hundreds of businesses to successfully enter the Asia market and scale their operations. He founded People & Projects (P&P) in 2006 and scaled it to ten offices serving 1500 clients, before it was acquired by Hawksford in 2018. Stefano’s core strength in numbers gained him a strong reputation in finance and technology sectors. He is also the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, Vice Chairman of the chamber’s Retail Committee, as well as a startup mentor at multiple accelerators.
In 2017, Stefano founded StartIT.Asia, an innovative program organized by the Italian Consulate General in Hong Kong to attract and select high potential Italian startups to come to Hong Kong and China. To this day he still holds the prestigious position and is one of the most active Italian businessmen in Hong Kong.
Outside business, Stefano is an avid multisport athlete and bio-hacker. He is a 3-time local champion of the Hong Kong Marathon and marathon record holder of the AG Ironman World Championship. He regularly advises businesspeople on the best practices to optimize and enhance their cognitive performance via movement.
